TIM KOBORIE – “GEDDY”
Tim (Founder) started his musical journey playing piano at the age of four. In his teen years he picked up the guitar and in his 20’s, bass guitar. Tim studied piano performance at the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University, and later received his Bachelor’s in Audio Engineering/Music from SUNY Fredonia. Throughout his life he has performed in various musical endeavors. His professional career began at The Hit Factory mastering studio in NYC. Tim later served four years as a vocalist/keyboardist and audio engineer for the Air Force Band of the Golden West. He later put his musical abilities to work as a K-12 music educator, and has taught private piano and guitar lessons to students of all ages for more than twenty years. Most recently his love of Rush — and his being constantly mistaken for Geddy Lee — led him to establish THR3EWILL. Tim’s other major musical influences include Progressive Rock powerhouses Yes, ELP, King Crimson and Jethro Tull; Debussy; Scott Joplin; The Beatles, The Guess Who, Sweet and more.
JEFF ANZELONE “NEIL”
Jeff is an award-winning drummer from Pittsburgh, PA. He has played drums for over 35 years and has performed with a multitude of musical acts. Jeff holds a B.A. in Music Performance from the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt Jazz Band) and spent a year of intensive study at Berklee College of Music before embarking on a musical journey that has seen him perform with James Rivera (Hellstar), Sabbath Judas Sabbath, Sacred Dominion, Union of Souls, XDB, Ghost of War, Identity Crisis, and more. He has shared the stage with Kiss, Motley Crue, Whitesnake, Mr. Big, Iced Earth, Dio’s Disciples, Metal Church, Adrenaline Mob and Stryper to name a few. Jeff was voted “Best Drummer” in 2011 & 2013 by Iron City Rocks Pittsburgh Music Awards. He co-wrote and performed on Sacred Dominion’s debut album “The Inside” which won “Best Album” 2011 at ICRPMA. His influences include Jazz, Rock, Metal, Progressive and Contemporary genres. Jeff teaches drums locally and online. Besides playing in THR3EWILL, He also performs with DaPhunk Band and is founder of Smells Like the 90’s, a 90’s Alternative and Grunge cover band.
BRIAN “Khâos” ARKKELIN – “ALEX”
Brian started playing guitar at the age of 14 and was performing in bars and nightclubs by 18 years old. After years of playing in various cover bands ranging in style from metal to country, Brian started the gothic death metal band Raven X and released the album “Essence Without Light” in 2013. Brian wrote, produced and performed all of the music for Raven X. In recent years, Brian was a member of the Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band, Freebird before joining two original bands (The Summit & The Quilts) and touring with bands such as ZZ Top, Collective Soul & Mountain. He has also recorded studio material at Real 2 Reel Studios with producer Will Turpin of Collective Soul. His musical influences include Jake E. Lee, John Sykes, Mozart, Ihsahn, Bjork, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Kiss, Metallica and Pantera. Brian plays Gibson, Fender, Ibanez and Godin guitars and uses Kemper amplification.
